Cerro Cristal

This Nature Reserve has been identified as an Important Bird Area (IBA). It is the habitat of a great variety of resident and migratory birds. It is located at only 800 meters from the main street, reaching the Lago Argentino shore. The reserve offers information, including brochures, bird guides and binocular rental, as well as an easy 3 km interpretation trail, with flora and fauna signs, viewpoints and bird observatories. It is a it very attractive walk and a pleasant nature experience, enjoying the El Calafate Wetland.
