In the heart of our Patagonia Argentina, we invite you to immerse yourself in a unique experience. This authentic adventure is a patagonian ride in the Estancia Huyliche, surrounding the canyon of the Arroyo Calafate to a viewpoint where we can appreciate a view of El Calafate and El Lago Argentino.

From your hotel to the adventure
Our team will pick you up directly from your hotel, to make sure you start your day worry-free. Then, we will take you to the Estancia Huyliche, which is located just 5 km from the city of El Calafate. When you arrive at the Estancia, a place full of history, you will be welcomed by the hosts, who are also members of the family owner. They have lived their whole lives in the country, dedicated to breeding and dressage of horses, animals for which they feel a deep love and respect. Each of these animals is treated with care and attention, and this is reflected in every step we take on our rides.

The initial meeting
Before the ride, we share a brief informative talk, which will allow you to understand the essence of this activity and you will have the opportunity to make contact with the horses, feel their energy and understand their importance in this experience.

Exploring the Natural Beauty of Patagonia
The adventure begins by surrounding the facilities of the Estancia, touring its farms and paddocks. Our tour continues along a path until we reach the slopes of the Cañadón del Arroyo Calafate. As we climb, you will be surprised by the panoramic views of the lush native fauna and flora. Guanacos, foxes, hares, loicas, bandurrias, caranchos and condors can be found in their natural habitat. You can also observe the native plants of the region, such as coirones, calafate, mata negra, senecio, paramela, among others. Each step will bring you closer to the magic of Patagonia. Our winding path will take us through a valley until we reach the viewpoint where we can observe part of the city of El Calafate and the Lago Argentino.

The return to the Casona
After this experience, we will begin the descent to the Estancia. This historic cattle ranch, dating back to the 1920s, witnessed the historical events of Rebellious Patagonia. In the oldest house of the stay, you will expect a rich picnic that closes the day with warmth and flavor.

Riding time: 1 hour approximately.
