There is a large staircase that leads to a viewpoint with the sign of El Calafate and a white Christmas tree. Up the stairs is located a few blocks, the bus terminal.

Plaza San Martín is a meeting point and place that honors the memory of the liberator José de San Martín through a commemorative bust and baptizing this square that has several tall pines, grasses and shrubs. This urban park is one of the places that concentrates the largest number of shops and restaurants in the downtown area around it, as well as a supermarket.

The Anfiteatro del Bosque is located in a strategic place because of its proximity to hotels, shops and one of the municipal tourist information offices. Ideal for walking and enjoying the different routes within the park. Also, in the months of spring - summer, it is realized the fair of the craftsmen attached to the square.

The Plaza las Madres, opened in 1980, is located meters from the main avenue of the town. This space honors and celebrates the fundamental role of mothers in the community, the park and different sculptures offer a quiet and welcoming atmosphere, ideal for meeting and reflection.

On the waterfront just 22 minutes walk from the main avenue, is the Plaza in a roundabout with games of logs with seats to enjoy an afternoon in front of the Argentino Lake.

The A.P.N. theme park is located in the shopping center. Building built in 1946, declared a Municipal Historic Monument. You can walk around the surrounding area, through an interpretive path, identify the native flora, exotic or introduced. Also a historical interpretation trail, samples of old machinery that were used when the National Park began to operate, an event that transformed it into the pioneer institution for the development of the area.

The Manuel Belgrano Park is a green space where people can relax, interact and enjoy nature, while honoring local history and culture. For tourists, the park offers an opportunity to experience local life and enjoy a break in the midst of its activities.
