Minitrekking

Minitrekking is the most complete visit to the Perito Moreno Glacier. The duration is 10 hours. The buses leave early in the morning from El Calafate, you visit the viewpoints of the Glacier for approx. an hour, then embarks in the Puerto Bajo de Las Sombras to navigate for 20 minutes in front of the south wall of the Perito Moreno glacier until you reach the base refuge area. With specialized mountain guides, a trek of 1:30 hours is made, on the crampon glacier, where you can see cracks, lagoons and small streams. The visit to the catwalks is included with the transfer service. The total walk time between forest and ice is 3 hours. We have different schedules, depending on availability. It must be booked in advance.
