El Chalten

Called the National Capital of Trekking, this small town, located at the foot of the Cordillera, is 220 kilometers from El Calafate by a fully paved road. Place identified with the famous Mount Fitz Roy or Chalten that dominates the landscape. The visit requires one or more days depending on the activities to be performed. It can be reached by car, regular bus or excursions that include different services and activities; as is the case with the “Full day Chalten” tours. You can also sail on Lake Viedma, trekking to Laguna Torre, Laguna Capri, Chorrilo del Salto and other interesting places that can be reached from El Chalten; as is the case of Lago del Desierto that is located 32 kilometers from the town.
